Founded in 2002 in memory of Ali Forney — a homeless gender-nonconforming teenager murdered on the streets of New York — the Ali Forney Center exists to save the lives of LGBTQ+ young people who have nowhere safe to go.
From the drop-in center through emergency and transitional housing, they give kids far more than a bed and a meal: safety, care, and a real path back to independence.
